- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the appointment scheduling system - Verify patient information and update medical records as necessary - Collect patient co-pays and process payments - Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow - Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information or direct them to the appropriate department Skills:
- Proficient in using medical office systems, such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, etc.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes - Experience managing medical records and maintaining confidentiality - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Previous experience as a medical receptionist is preferred We are looking for a dedicated individual who can contribute to our team-oriented environment.
